Kicker
A kicker is a side card. (e.g., if you hold and A-10, an another player holds A-9, and the board is A-K-7-3-2, the player with the A-10 outkicks the player with the A-9, since A-10's best hand is A-A-K-10-7, and A-9's best hand is A-A-K-9-7.
